Construction: Perhaps Type B flattened circle. Diameter 113 ft = 41.5 my. Perimeter 122.8 my =49.1 mr.

Portmeor S1-12

A. Burl (Cornwall 14)

It is doubtful whether this is a stone circle. It lies on a NE-facing slope at 185 m O.D., 3/4 mile ESE of Porthmeor.

It consists of many low stones in a turfy bank and appears to be the remains of an enclosure for cattle or, perhaps, was fa dilapidated walled hut enclosure' about 34.4 m across. An entrance is marked by a taller stone.
